A discussion concerning the Love and Grace of God for all humanity... you are welcome to join me.
1 Timothy 4:9-11
This is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance (and for this we labor and strive), that we have put our hope in the living God, who is the Savior of all men, and especially of those who believe. Command and teach these things.

Introduction

So this is it. Finally expressing my thoughts on the web. Ok, let's begin... my sole purpose for this blog is to generate interest in a topic that seems to be plaguing me (and others) over the past few years. In modern times it is known as "ultimate reconciliation" in the early part of the 20th century, it seems to have been called "Restorationism". I prefer the former term. It's definition stems from the argument over the translation of the Greek word "aonios" which traditionally means "eternity" or "eternal" but has been debated to be misrepresented in the original greek in certain instances when the word should be read to mean "for a time" or "for unto a time". Not a big deal, right? Not really. Because once again, it seems as though we who claim God have overlooked the consequences of such an issue. If it is true that there are alternate definitions for the word "eternal" in scripture, then it COULD and I stress... COULD mean that Hell iteslf does not last forever, and ultimately, all humanity is restored to our Creator. I do not claim I have the answer to this question, only that I am asking this question. There is much to support both sides (oddly) and you are free to post whatever you feel on whatever side. HOWEVER: No "Christian hate" I these instances I ask that you save your hellfire and brimstone for yourself and leave others to God; the church has hurt enough people with this crud over the centuries. I mean for God's sake, didn't the crusades teach us anything? In other words, if you wish to disagree, do it out of Love not out of self-righteousness or I'l shut this whole thing down and give up on the whole lot of you. (whew!)

One more thing, let me state clearly that I AM NOT UNIVERSALIST in my thinking. Anyone who is concerned with this should do research before posting.

So, let the games begin... (I am now expecting months to pass before someone even catches wind of this blog)
